The challenge was how to make the people feel a part of the tour without actually being there. We approached with the idea of shooting raw moments on tour while the people were enjoying themselves. The User Generated Content had travellers sharing their honest experiences on social media platforms. The passengers made reels during the tours and these reels were posted on Flamingo’s social media accounts. Villagius, a new fashion brand on Meta and Google platforms, embarked on a structured lead generation journey, aiming to boost their revenue through a phased approach. With products priced between 699 to 1999, the strategy involved compartmentalized targeting to reach the desired goals.

Initially, the campaign focused on sustaining a Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) of over 1.8 while identifying key audiences and locations. Using a funnel approach, the Top of Funnel (TOF) phase employed Add to Cart (ATC) optimized campaigns to attract relevant website traffic.

The Middle of Funnel (MOF) stage targeted web visitors, engaging them with a product catalogue priced within the 699-1999 range. This stage aimed to define Average Order Value (AOV) and ROAS for future campaigns.

For the Bottom of Funnel (BOF), the focus was on users who had completed checkouts in the past 30 days, with a high frequency of more than eight. Utilizing Google’s P-max campaigns, the strategy involved ROAS bidding and asset group segmentation based on price range, resulting in a more refined targeting approach.

In the first month after relaunching the brand, Technoville's approach involved segmenting the target market into two major product categories: high Average Order Value (AOV) products priced above 4.9K and kids' essentials and clothing priced below 1.9K. By focusing on these segments, Technoville was able to streamline the advertising strategy.

Non-performing products were removed from the ads, and the focus was shifted to regions with maximum sales potential. This targeted approach resulted in a significant and effective boost in overall sales generation. SunSolar Energy, an Australian solar energy company primarily operating in the Victoria region, aimed to enhance its market presence and drive business growth through targeted advertising campaigns on Meta and Google platforms. The primary goals were to generate high-quality leads, improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion ratio, cost per lead (CPL), and click-through rate (CTR), and ultimately boost overall revenue.

**Initial Challenges**

SunSolar Energy faced several initial challenges in their marketing efforts. They experienced excessive spending on non-performing placements, leading to suboptimal returns on ad spend. Additionally, high-frequency exposure to existing creatives resulted in audience fatigue, diminishing engagement. Outdated creatives contributed to low CTR, limiting lead generation and conversions, and the absence of video ads negatively impacted engagement and CTR, reducing the overall effectiveness of their campaigns.


**Steps Taken on Meta**

To overcome these challenges, we implemented a comprehensive performance marketing strategy on Meta and Google. On Meta, we divided our efforts into three funnel stages: Top of Funnel (TOF), Middle of Funnel (MOF), and Bottom of Funnel (BOF). We created segmented campaigns based on product prices at the TOF stage, targeted engaged but non-converting users at the MOF stage, and focused on leads that had not converted at the BOF stage using testimonial videos featuring Sharon Johal.


**Steps Taken on Google**

On Google, we adopted a multi-faceted approach to capture high-intent search traffic and engage potential customers across various touchpoints. We launched search campaigns targeting high-volume keywords related to solar panels in Melbourne Metro and nearby areas. Call-based campaigns were introduced to engage customers directly, achieving a 60% conversion ratio. YouTube video campaigns targeting Indian and Asian demographics were run on popular channels, and display marketing campaigns increased website traffic, which was then used for remarketing on Meta. Performance Max campaigns tapped into the entire Google inventory, featuring Sharon Johal in different ad variants, significantly boosting results.


**Conclusion**

The targeted performance marketing strategy successfully addressed SunSolar Energy's initial challenges and met the campaign objectives. By leveraging advanced targeting techniques, continuous optimization, and thorough performance analysis, we significantly improved lead generation, reduced CPL, enhanced CTR, and drove substantial revenue growth.
