The strategy involved upgrading the technology stack to Next.js for frontend and MongoDB for backend, significantly reducing loading times and improving scalability. Performance optimizations led to a halving of loading times and a substantial increase in PageSpeed score from 10 to 35.

A minimalistic design approach was adopted to improve user engagement, with redesigned pages focusing on intuitive navigation and aesthetic appeal. The app divided into two distinct sections:

Brahma: Offers comprehensive details on a wide range of domestic and international tour packages, including costs, videos, blogs, travel guides, discounts, and contact options. It simplifies booking processes and provides essential travel information.

Buddha: Focuses on tour assistance and destination details, providing updates, itineraries, on-tour communication options, local recommendations, and more, catering to travelers' needs during their journeys. This section also allows for customization of tours based on users' specific requirements.

Technologically, the app was rebuilt using Flutter, ensuring fast performance and cross-platform compatibility. MongoDB was integrated for backend operations, managing extensive data seamlessly.

Enhanced features like real-time notifications, package sharing, dynamic price calculations, detailed package information, blogs, testimonials, and media content significantly improved user engagement and experience. The challenge was how to make the people feel a part of the tour without actually being there. We approached with the idea of shooting raw moments on tour while the people were enjoying themselves. These raw moments and scenic videos gave the audience an authentic experience of going on a tour with Flamingo Travels.

The User Generated Content had travellers sharing their honest experiences on social media platforms. The passengers made reels during the tours and these reels were posted on Flamingo’s social media accounts. The reels gave audiences an honest and authentic experience of what a tour with Flamingo Travels looks like. The UGC paved the way for a wider audience that brought more profile visits and played the role of increasing brand awareness for the company.

Topical

Topical posts brought relevancy to the audience as Flamingo Travels aimed to celebrate the special days with the people. These posts were also used to highlight Flamingo Travel’s philosophy of “Birds of a feather flock together”.

USPs

There were multiple USPs of Flamingo Travels and we used them all. Since their Maharaj Tours were quite popular, we gave special attention to these Maharaja tours with reels and posts on social media platforms. The posts showcased the importance of Indian and especially vegetarian and Jain food in foreign countries.

Informative Hygiene Content

Posts that showcased the itinerary, things to do, FAQs, and more, were published creatively and engagingly for people. These posts were made with the idea of using creativity and scenic visuals to share necessary details for a tour and increase brand awareness on the internet.
